Pro/I Folder Replication (3.x)
I've written this to help me remember the steps involved in Folder Replication with Pro/INTRALINK 3.x...
Server Preparation (also see 
)
- First identify your MAIN server and REMOTE servers. The MAIN server will control all items, whereas the REMOTE servers will only store CAD files locally.
- On the MAIN server, run the DSMU (proimgr.bat) and "Create File Server" for each REMOTE server
- Add new file vaults on each of these REMOTE fileservers (See this Pro/I Help Technique
)
I recommend naming them consistently, including a code for remote location and/or product group

Folder Preparation
- Now it's time to select the folders to replicate
- Via any Intralink client:
Administration | Folders | "Replicate Clusters" tab
- Select the clusters to be replicated by moving them between the columns
Replication (2 methods)
- Manually replicate the folders by clicking the button in the dialog box (with recursive option)
- Automatically replicate by running batch files...
