BOM Tables

1. Start with: Table | Insert | Table
2. Set the number and size of the cells...
(click on the numbers to size width and height, middle-click when done.)
3. For a BOM table, create a table of 2 rows by however many columns you need.
In this example, I'll just use 3 columns: item no, name & quantity.
4. Next, add a repeat region to hold the data for each component:
Repeat Region | Add
Select the bottom-left and bottom-right cells, which will repeat
(or the top-left & right if your table is going upwards...)

5. Now, double-click on each of the top cells to create the columns headers.
Note: in Wildfire, they've done away with the brackets {0: ...}, etc (at last)
6. Similarly, double-click on each of the repeat region cells to define which values should be shown...
Pick from the lists, eg:
  • rpt.index - component index
  • asm.mbr.name - component file name
  • rpt.qty - quantity, etc...
7. Usually you want to remove duplicate items from the BOM list:
Attributes | No Duplicates
8. This should give you a decent BOM table - experiment with the options till you get what you want...
